I was born May 31, 1952 in a village Mohaleap, Koh Sotin, Kompong Cham Province. My father was mayor of our village until the arrival of the Khmer Rouge. In 1970 I got my BA and I followed my agronomy studies 1970-1974, Released valedictorian I got a French scholarship from 1974 to 1977. Avec the arrival of the Khmer Rouge I decided to stay in France and resume my studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Caen from 1978 to 1983 .I spent my doctoral thesis in pharmacy in the cancer field. From 1983 to 1988 admitted to the internship contest I spent my five years working in medical laboratories of the Paris hospitals. Married to a French woman, we have two daughter .The first is a physician, specializing in cancer and the second is medical doctor.​​ In 1988 I bought a medical laboratory in France (in Normandy) and since I run with my 4 French, 5 associated laboratories in France. Our 5 laboratories are qualified with ISO 15189 standards.

I got a lot of degrees in France in agronomy and medical sciences and I retire to France in 2017. I worked over 40 years in France and now I will wish that my knowledge is useful to our compatriots. It the main reason that pushes me to establish a laboratory in Cambodia, and my knowledge is helpful to Cambodians, and also will transmit to future generations.

Our laboratory was opened in Toul kork Phnom Penh in August 2015 .I work with my technicians and administrative employees respecting standards qualities such as I practice in France with the aim of having reliable and useful results for our doctors and confreres to our patients.

Establishing a medical laboratory in Cambodia is in the image of my laboratory in France. We make analysis in Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Bacteriology and Parasitology, Biology Molecular. Our equipment’s and PLCs from Europe and USA. Doing analysis on various samples: blood, feces, urine, pus spittle....... I am assisted by two biologists 5 technicians, GM and secretaries. All our results are confirmed, controlled by technicians and validated by biologists.

To the readers of the magazine, my staff and me we assure you that all our results are controlled several times and finally approved by qualified biologists. Our analyzes are surrounded by quality controls at several levels and we are sure of our results before printing. if you want to visit our laboratory, of course you are welcome.

Before the opening of the Tuol Kork laboratory, I have been made an inquiry from Cambodian doctors what they want from our services: doctors wish that the results are reliable and cost-effective. Our mission is to meet the demands of doctors: to render reliable results in compliance with quality standards ISO 15189. Our estimate is that our results are useful and to the health service of our patients.

Cambodia is part of ASEAN and the movement of people is free between member countries. Many of our compatriots seek healthcare outside Cambodia and it is a shame for our country. I am sure that in our country there are doctors and specialists who are highly competent because many of them have specialty training in Europe, the USA, Asia or other countries. For me it is a matter of trust: we must restore trust between Cambodians, by helping health professional medical and paramedical must work together hand by hand and this and to health service, some of our compatriots are still poor not many to get treatment. Health is the first wealth. Our laboratory aims to have ISO 15189 standards that are internationally recognized. This very high level of standard that will be our future but right now we're trying to have BIORAD standards that can be accessed with current means.

What I can tell to our countrymen is to learn to trust us and trust each other. I recognize that it is a wishful thinking very difficult to achieve because our tragic history shows us that trust between neighbors or even members of one family turns into tragedy. This will take time and I am sure that it will happen one day and it is for each health professional to work in honesty to restore the image of the medical profession is a respectable and respected profession. BIOBYKHIN, our laboratory works with this in mind: we put all our resources to ensure that our outs of the laboratory are reliable and useful for diagnosis and treatment.

Health is the first wealth and prevention is better than cure. Our laboratory is a very important link to participate in this chain of prevention. Prevention means having the proper lifestyle and has regular appointments with health professionals especially with the lab and his doctor.
